Revenge diet: This is how much weight a mother lost after being dumped

Wakefield (UK) - For a long time, 32-year-old mother Sarah Curry found it very difficult to go on a diet. Until she decided to completely change her life.

Sarah Curry (32) spoke to the"Mirror" about her dramatic transformation.

It all started with a terrible experience.

Not by looking at the scales. No, she was left by her husband and father of her little daughter Phoebe, who moved in with another woman just a few weeks later.

Her body was not the reason, but for Sarah Curry it was time to make a change.

The first pounds tumbled off rather unintentionally. The 32-year-old could no longer even think about food because of her grief. After three months, she finally joined a diet group to tackle the issue properly.

"I decided it was time to do something for myself. I loved eating healthier and I cut out the takeaways and junk food."

That was in 2016 and shortly before that, the woman, who was only around 1.60 meters tall, weighed over 110 kilograms and even had to be looked after by a nurse at home for a while. She could barely move...

How did it come to this? It's quite simple. For years, her diet consisted mainly of the typical English "fried breakfast", burgers and chips, and she liked to reach for chocolate bars and potato chips to satisfy her hunger in between meals.

A balanced diet looks different.

She weighed 110 kilograms

This not only had serious consequences for her figure, but also for her life with her young daughter. "I hated the way I looked and hid in huge, baggy clothes - I refused to go swimming with Phoebe because I was too humiliated to wear a swimsuit."

Things are very different now. Sarah Curry's weight has now almost halved. She weighs a healthy 68 kilograms, finally feels comfortable in her body and shows off what she has.

Her new body has something else going for it, says the 32-year-old: "Now I have my 'revenge body'. I love to show it off and wear seductive dresses, tight jeans and strappy tops." Too bad for her ex-husband, who she no longer sheds a tear for.

"Looking back, he did me a big favor. It's his loss - and I'd like to shake his hand. When he left, he said: 'You'll thank me one day', and he was right."

Proud and over 40 kilograms lighter, Sarah Curry (32) is now happy to show off her new figure.
